See World-Class Golfers and Their Families Compete in 2023 PNC Championship

We are thrilled to present to you the incredible lineup of teams participating in the highly anticipated 2023 PNC Championship. This prestigious event brings together major champions from the PGA Tour and LPGA, alongside their talented family members, for a week of exciting golf action. Taking place at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando from December 14th to 17th, this year’s championship features a total of 20 teams, including 18 returning from the previous year’s competition.

Notably, defending champions Vijay Singh and Qass Singh will be back to defend their title. The father-son duo clinched a memorable victory with a two-shot lead in the previous edition. Unfortunately, two teams will not be participating this year, namely Gary Player and his son Jordan, as well as Jordan Spieth and his father Shawn. However, the championship will still be graced by esteemed replacements, such as Steve Stricker and his daughter Izzi, as well as Retief Goosen and his son Leo.

Let’s take a closer look at all 20 teams, comprised of both LPGA and PGA Tour players:

Stewart and Connor Cink:
Stewart Cink, a major champion in his own right, previously triumphed in the PNC Championship alongside his talented son Connor back in 2013.

John and Little John Daly:
The Daly duo, consisting of John Daly and his son Little John Daly Jr., emerged as victors in the 2021 edition and have their sights set on another impressive performance this year. John II, a skilled golfer himself, currently plays for the University of Arkansas.

Brady Duval and Nick Karavites:
Brady Duval, accompanied by his step-son Nick Karavites, tasted victory in 2016 and will be aiming for a repeat success in this year’s championship.

Sir Nick and Matthew Faldo:
Sir Nick Faldo, a legendary figure in golf, teams up with his son Matthew Faldo. Despite their previous attempts, they have yet to secure a victory in the PNC Championship.

Jim and Tanner Furyk:
Jim Furyk, a major champion with a storied career, partners with his son Tanner Furyk. Together, they finished in a respectable T-15 position last year.

Retief and Leo Goosen:
Retief Goosen and his son Leo showcased their remarkable skills in the 2019 edition, where they were tied for first but unfortunately lost in a playoff. This year, they are determined to claim the top spot.

Padraig and Ciaran Harrington:
Padraig Harrington, a prominent figure in golf, joins forces with his son Ciaran Harrington. They achieved a commendable fourth-place finish in the previous championship and are eager to make their mark this time around.

Petr and Nelly Korda:
World No. 5 Nelly Korda, an incredibly talented golfer, will be partnering with her father Petr Korda, a former tennis star. This dynamic duo has participated in the PNC Championship twice before, finishing in a respectable T-5 position last year.

Cameron and Tom Kuchar:
Cameron Kuchar, son of PGA Tour player Matt Kuchar, teams up with his father again this year. They have become regular contenders in this annual event and are known for their consistent performances.

Bernhard and Jason Langer:
Bernhard Langer, a four-time winner of the PNC Championship, will once again be partnering with his son Jason. With a fifth win, Bernhard would tie Raymond Floyd for the most victories in the event’s history.

Tom and Sean Lehman:
The Lehman father-son duo, consisting of Tom Lehman and Sean Lehman, return to the championship after a T-13 finish last year. They aim to improve upon their performance from the previous edition when they secured a T-5 position.

Justin and Luke Leonard:
Justin Leonard, accompanied by his son Luke Leonard, made their first appearance as a pair in the previous championship. They finished in a respectable T-17 position and are motivated to improve this year.

Mark and Shaun O’Meara:
Mark O’Meara, a seasoned golfer with numerous accolades, will be joining forces with his son Shaun O’Meara. After finishing T-8 in the past two seasons, they are eager to make a breakthrough.

Nick and Gregory Price:
Nick Price, an accomplished golfer, partners with his son Gregory Price. Although they are winless in their nine attempts thus far, they are determined to make their mark in this year’s championship.

Vijay and Qass Singh:
Vijay Singh and his son Qass Singh, the defending champions, will return this year aiming to retain their title. With their exceptional skills on display, they secured a memorable two-shot victory in the previous edition.

Annika Sorenstam and Will McGee:
Annika Sorenstam, a legendary figure in women’s golf, teams up with her son Will McGee. While Annika has played with her father before, Will made his debut in the championship last year, where they finished T-17.

Steve and Izzi Stricker:
Steve Stricker and his daughter Izzi, fresh off their victory in the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, will be making their debut in the PNC Championship. With their recent success, they will be a pair to watch closely.

Justin and Mike Thomas:
Justin Thomas, a highly skilled golfer, partners with his father Mike Thomas. Together, they won the championship in 2020 and narrowly missed out on victory, finishing T-2 last year.

Lee Trevino and Gary Player:
Lee Trevino, a golfing icon, has been a regular participant in the PNC Championship since its inception. Despite not yet winning the event, he always brings his entertaining spirit to the tournament. Team Trevino finished T-13 in the previous edition.

Tiger and Charlie Woods:
The famous Woods father-son duo, consisting of Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods, will be making their fourth appearance in the championship. With a runner-up finish in 2022 and a T-8 finish last year, they are expected to showcase their exceptional talents once again.
