Game-Changing Performance: Ping’s Blueprint S and T Irons for 2024

For [ClubTest 2024](https://golf.com/clubtest/), we, alongside GOLF’s editors and Golf Laboratories founder Gene Parente’s swing robot, thoroughly tested the latest golf clubs in the market. In this article, we provide full coverage of Ping’s new golf clubs for 2024, including the Ping G430 Max 10K drivers, Ping Blueprint T irons, and Ping Blueprint S irons.

Ping G430 Max 10K

When it comes to drivers, Ping already boasts a robust lineup with the G430 series, consisting of the LST, Max, and SFT models. However, with the new G430 Max 10K, they have combined several key technologies and design features from the G430 family to create their most forgiving driver yet.

The dimensions of the G430 Max 10K have been pushed to the USGA limit, maximizing the moment of inertia (MOI). Despite its large footprint, Ping has made subtle geometry changes to make the driver appealing to the eyes and easy to align. One notable difference between the G430 Max 10K and other G430 drivers is the lack of adjustable weighting. Instead, Ping has incorporated a 28-gram fixed weight in the rear of the club, ensuring a low and deep center of gravity.

Ping Blueprint S and Ping Blueprint T

Ping rarely releases players’ irons, so when they do, there’s always a significant reason behind it. In the case of the new Blueprint S and T irons, Ping designers received invaluable feedback from their stable of Tour players, leading to the creation of a new family of Blueprint irons. The goal was simple: deliver superior performance and control compared to the previous generation.

Both the Blueprint T and S irons are one-piece forgings. However, the Blueprint T features Ping designers’ patented “precision pocket” forging. This technique enables designers to forge a “pocket” into the cavity of the longer irons (3, 4, and 5-irons), saving 10 grams of weight that can be redistributed for increased stability on mishits. Both irons share similar address profiles and the same standard lofts as each other and Ping’s popular i230 irons, allowing for a seamless blend when building a combo set.
