We are excited to celebrate the 10th year of the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club, a prestigious event that has become the highlight of the Sunday after the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and before the start of Masters week.
This year, we have gathered 80 talented young golfers from 31 states, including both girls and boys aged 7 to 15, to compete in four divisions. Each participant will showcase their skills in driving accuracy, chipping, and putting, creating a thrilling and intense competition.
The Tournament Practice Facility will host the driving and chipping challenges, while the 18th green will be the stage for the exhilarating putting contest.
We are proud to announce Kipp Madison, a local player from Evans, as the triumphant winner of the boys 12-13 division. Kipp’s exceptional performance has made history, making him the first Augusta native to secure a victory in his age group. It’s incredible to witness the talent that flourishes in our own community.
It’s worth noting that Kipp’s journey to the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals wasn’t an easy one. Despite living just 15 minutes away from Augusta National, Kipp had to travel all the way to Nashville to qualify for this prestigious event. His dedication, perseverance, and undeniable talent have paid off, leaving us all inspired.
